EQUILIBRIUM: A WELLNESS EVENT DESIGNED FOR WOMEN SEEKING BALANCE, RENEWED ENERGY, AND IMPROVED HEALTH.

Located in the Cedar Pocket Valley, this three-day, three-night retreat offers accommodations, whole foods, and wellness practices to help participants reconnect with themselves. Each day includes guided activities focused on balance, gut health, and body alignment, along with free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The retreat features workshops, personalised health insights, various holistic therapies, and ceremonies.

EQUILIBRIUM aims to help attendees feel recharged, empowered, and aligned with their health goals. This weekend event provides tools for lasting changes in participants’ wellness journeys.

Welcome to TIVOLI Retreat

A modern boutique-style sanctuary overlooking Cedar Pocket’s lush valley near Gympie and just 45 minutes to Noosa or Rainbow Beach is dedicated to your spiritual and emotional well-being.

Tivoli Retreat offers a tranquil and picturesque setting that’s ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. The retreat is nestled amidst lush greenery, creating a serene ambience that immediately sets a peaceful mood. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed to harmonise with the natural surroundings, featuring earthy tones such as olive greens, rich browns, and soothing beiges. These colours complement the verdant landscape visible through large, open windows, which allow ample natural light to enhance the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The style of the retreat is a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, incorporating natural materials like wood and stone to maintain an organic feel throughout the property.

WHOLEFOOD NUTRITIOUS MEALS

Did we mention the delicious food? Mouthwatering, tasty, and nutritionally balanced meals cooked with love by our very own chef, Leisa Montfroy, of Divine Desserts are the order of the day. Leisa pours her heart and soul into sourcing the best local organic produce she can find, and then spices it with lashings of love and care so that the finished meals fill you with a balance of goodness and tastiness. Fiona will help portion the meals so that you get a good understanding of what a balanced meal looks like on the plate. Just the right amount of protein, fibre, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates to keep your gut flora buzzing with satisfaction and salivating with anticipation for the next meal!

  • 1:00 – 2:00 pm: Arrival – Settle in, explore, and get ready for the weekend.
  • 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Opening Circle – Welcome & intention setting
  • 3:00 – 4:30 pm: Health Wheel Activity – Explore areas for health improvement with Fiona. Create your personalised action plan for wellness.
  • 4:39 – 5:45 pm: Free Time – Relax or continue working on your wellness plan.
  • 6:00 – 7:00 pm: Dinner by Leisa.
  • 7:00 – 8:30 pm: Yoga Nidra & Meditation – Unwind and relax.

  • 6:00 – 7:00 am: Sunrise Yoga – Gentle stretching and intention setting.

  • 8:00 – 9:00 am: Balancing Ph levels in the body to create a platform for healing and wellness.
  • 9:00 – 10:30 am: Somatic Movement & Laughing Yoga with Jo – Boost joy and balance.
  • 10:30 – 12:00 pm: Cooking Masterclass – Create delicious, healthy salads.
  • 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Lunch by Leisa.
  • 1:00 – 5:30 pm: Free Time – Enjoy massages, sauna, pool, or relaxation.

Introducing Fiona, a qualified Mind Power Coach, Nutritionist, and advocate for holistic wellbeing. Fiona is dedicated to helping individuals unlock the potential of their minds and cultivate a balanced and empowered life.

With her expertise in mind power and personal transformation, Fiona guides individuals on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through her coaching, she empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, tap into their inner strength, and create positive change.

Fiona’s passion for holistic wellbeing extends beyond the mind. As a qualified Nutritionist, she understands the important role that nutrition plays in optimizing overall health and vitality. With her knowledge of personalized nutrition, Fiona equips individuals with the tools to nourish their bodies and support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

At Women’s Wellness RetreatS, Fiona combines her expertise in mind power and nutrition to deliver transformative workshops. Through practical techniques and empowering insights, participants will learn to harness the power of their minds, cultivate self-belief, and nourish themselves holistically.

MEET THE TEAM FOR THE WEEKEND

Leisa Montfroy – of Divine Desserts https://www.facebook.com/leisa.montfroy – is our retreat caterer extraordinaire! When Leisa isn’t cooking up a storm she is out sourcing the best, freshest, and most organic produce around! This will be Leisa’s 3rd retreat cooking for us and I know you will want to take her home with you after the retreat … everyone always does!!!

Denise Long – https://www.facebook.com/denise.long.39 – our retreat organiser and chief connector. Denise will be helping to ensure that you are all comfortable at the retreat centre and keeping the sauna fire stoked when we need it! When she’s not connecting people or organising retreats she can be found running her Thermomix business online or in person or whipping up something delicious in her Thermomix.

Enjoy a night of self-care and pampering to embrace your inner Goddess with Ani. Ani will guide you through this calming, relaxing evening of facial pampering and self love and finish with a Sound Healing that will create soothing vibrations to uplift your spirit, awaken your heart and prepare you for a restorative night’s sleep. Ani will also be taking a gentle Hatha Yoga class for us the next morning – perfect way to start the day.

Come as you are – no special equipment, clothing, or expertise needed. If you can move, you can groove!!

Tenneille has spent 25 years in the beauty industry and came to realise how toxic mainstream beauty products can be. Chemicals in food and cosmetics can lead to ill health and the toxins can be stored in fat cells. It’s time to look at what chemicals are in the products you are using and consuming. This is everything from your shampoo to your hand creme, your deodorant and perfume as well as your washing powder. Tenneille will help to identify the toxic ingredients and show you how to replace them with safer ones.

Jo Goddard – of I’mHer https://www.facebook.com/ImHERHQ – the Joy Huntress who will have us laughing and moving with ease!  ImHER was birthed through Jo’s own journey of self-discovery & self-acceptance. It’s the culmination of the 5 key pillars that she discovered were the ‘secret sauce’ to reclaiming her true essence amongst the chaos of roles and responsibilities. It’s a place where she gets to play in her magic and invite you along for the journey. Jo will lead us in a Laughing yoga class to cultivate joy, bring out your inner child, and help you let go of daily life stressors. She will follow this with somatic movement – movement that’s practiced consciously with the intention of focusing on the internal experience of the movement rather than the external appearance or the end result of the movement. Jo will guide you to move in what ever way your body desires you too. Learn how to listen to, and honour your body. Movement is much more then a pathway to fitness, or body shape. Movement is both release and embodiment.

Lucy will guide us through an Aromatherapy class – Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts. It is a very powerful tool which can help to expand self-awareness and promote inner healing. In this aromatherapy session Lucy will guide you to create your own unique essential oil blend that can help support the whole you—the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and collective unconscious levels of your being. This blend will be unique to you and will be diluted and ready for you to take home and use – in your own personal roller bottle.

And of course our beautiful massage therapists: Bel, Nelly and Jacqui Sterling – a retreat just wouldn’t be the same without a massage and these ladies have the magic touch to ensure you are fully relaxed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the start date will receive a full refund, less a $250.00 administration fee.

Cancellations made within four weeks of the start date will receive a refund less the admin fee of $250.00 only if the space can be filled. The retreat host reserves the right to cancel the retreat for any reason; in that case, all payments will be refunded in full. (Please consider purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations.) Please refer to our Retreat Terms and Conditions for full details.

Date: Friday, February 28th to Monday, March 3rd 2025 (Check-in Fri 28th Feb 1pm)

Payment Policy

Either full payment or deposit, as specified on the booking page, or agreed with by the organiser, and listed in Australian dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST, with your completed registration form, is required to enable us to secure and hold your booking. If a deposit is initially made, the final full payment is due by January 30, 2025. The booking will be forfeited if payment is not received by the due date.

Cancellation and Refunds

It is the responsibility of the guest to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

In the event of cancellation by the guest, regardless of the circumstances, the following applies,

All cancellations will result in a loss of a $250.00 AUD administration fee. 

Cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the start date will receive a full refund, less $250.00 administration fee. Cancellations made within four weeks of the start date will receive a refund less $250.00 administration fee only if the space can be filled.

NB: you may transfer your booking into another person’s name if you find someone to take your place by having them send a completed registration form and a note explaining they are taking your place.

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the weekend prior to departure for any reason, including logistical problems (the reasons may include but are not limited to low booking numbers, a pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical problems with the accommodation, transport or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather), which may prevent us from running the weekend.

If a weekend is cancelled due to forces beyond our control, we will refund any monies that haven’t been advanced to suppliers, as we can’t guarantee that we will be able to recover any or all advance payments made to other parties. We highly recommend cancellation insurance whenever making travel plans. 

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend an Equilibrium Retreat. Guests under 18 may be allowed to attend provided they are accompanied by a guardian 18+ years old and are approved by Fiona prior to booking.

Liability

Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organizers shall not be liable for any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include but are not limited to a pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical problems with the accommodation, transport or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any of the above, refunds and compensation payments cannot be made.

Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organisers accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses that may be received during the guest’s stay or travelling to and from the retreat. All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness and be able to use our facilities and participate in activities.

Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organizers are not liable for any injuries or losses to guests in the use of retreat facilities or participation in activities.

While all care is taken, Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organizers cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of guests.

Data Use and Protection

The guest agrees that she may be photographed and/or filmed during her stay and/or activities in connection with Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organizers and the retreat and agrees that Fiona Hoskin (trading as Cooking For Life Pty Ltd) and retreat organizers may use such recordings for promotion and/or advertising purposes without any other prior consent.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. We can cater for food allergies provided we are notified at the time of booking to allow plenty of time to create substitute menu items.

Absolutely – provided you let us know at the time of booking we can arrange for that.

Everything is optional! The yoga is very gentle and restorative, so no prior experience is needed, and we include some valuable breathing exercises and lymphatic draining activities so encourage everyone to come along and see how they go. We will have spare mats for anyone who doesn’t have their own.

Unfortunately, prior to 1pm we will be still setting up and preparing for the retreat event, but the Hinterland is lovely to explore if you do get to the area earlier.

No! You can do as much or as little as you like! Everything is optional!

Yes. That is entirely up to each person although we can’t offer any discount if you leave early as we still have to pay for the accommodation. We would love you to stay for the closing ceremony if possible.

We can cater for vegetarians, but we do use eggs and ghee, so we are unable to cater for vegan diets for this weekend.
