• 100g organic frozen blueberries
  • 50g Açaí puree, frozen (or powder)
  • 1 silverbeet stalk, green leafy part only
  • 3 sprigs mint, leaves only
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, organic
  • 200g filtered water

Method:

  1. Put everything into a high powered blender (I use a Thermomix on speed 10) and blend on the highest speed until smooth.

Tips:

  • Add some coconut yoghurt to make a creamy, dreamy, delicious smoothie.
  • Mix up the greens you add to your drinks/smoothies so you are getting a wide variety of vegetables.
  • You can buy Açaí puree in the freezer compartment in most supermarkets. Known as ‘Purple Gold’ and pronounced ‘ah-sigh-ee’ these berries grow on palm trees in South American rainforests. They are tart, tangy and packed with goodness.
  • The Açaí powder is available from most good health stores.
