• 1 cm piece of ginger, peeled
  • 1 cm piece of turmeric, peeled
  • 20g Medjool dates, pitted
  • 125g apple, roughly chopped
  • 40g unhulled millet
  • 1 good pinch of Himalayan sea salt
  • 250g filtered water


  1. Place ginger, turmeric and dates in TM bowl and chop 30 secs/speed 8.
  2. Add apple and chop 3 secs/speed 5.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, put the butterfly into position and add millet, salt and water and cook 20 mins/100C/speed 2.
  4. Serve as you would serve normal porridge and enjoy the many health benefits of stewed apple, millet, ginger and turmeric.
