• 30gr grated Parmesan
  • 150gr grated Mozzarella
  • 50gr grated cheddar
  • 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs (dried or fresh)
  • 500gr lean beef mince
  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce
  • Your favourite toppings

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix 20gr of the Mozzarella with the mince, salt, herbs, garlic and paprika in a large bowl until well combined, then press mixture onto two medium pizza trays to form 2 bases about 1 cm thick. (They will shrink a bit so make bigger ones than you actually want.)
  3. Bake the bases for 20 mins while you prepare all your toppings.
  4. Using a large egg flip, carefully transfer the cooked bases to clean pizza trays and discard any liquid that came out of the meat.
  5. Spread the base with your favourite pizza sauce and sprinkle some of the cheeses over the top.
  6. Add all your other toppings and finish with the remaining cheese.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 200C and bake the meatza for 15-20 mins or until cheese is golden.
  8. Slide the meatza onto a chopping board and cut into wedges.
