• 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 small brown onion, peeled and quartered (100g)
  • 15g olive oil
  • 250g tomato passata
  • 50g filtered water
  • 10g apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric, ground
  • 1/8 tsp chilli, ground
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut Aminos
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt

Method:

  1. Place garlic and onion in food processor or TM bowl and chop 3 secs/speed 7.
  2. Add oil to TM bowl and cook 10 mins/100C/speed 1 or remove to a saucepan and cook until ingredients are soft and translucent.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to TM bowl and blend 1 min/speed 9 or until smooth or blitz in a food processor
  4. Adjust seasoning to suit your taste then refrigerate until needed.
