- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 small brown onion, peeled and quartered (100g)
- 15g olive oil
- 250g tomato passata
- 50g filtered water
- 10g apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- 1/4 tsp turmeric, ground
- 1/8 tsp chilli, ground
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut Aminos
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
Method:
- Place garlic and onion in food processor or TM bowl and chop 3 secs/speed 7.
- Add oil to TM bowl and cook 10 mins/100C/speed 1 or remove to a saucepan and cook until ingredients are soft and translucent.
- Add remaining ingredients to TM bowl and blend 1 min/speed 9 or until smooth or blitz in a food processor
- Adjust seasoning to suit your taste then refrigerate until needed.
